Overview:

Reuters Health, a unit of Thomson Reuters, produces three daily wires: Reuters Medical News, for physicians, researchers and other medical professionals; Reuters Health eLine, for the general public; and Reuters Health Industry Briefing, for healthcare executives.

Interns at Reuters Health are expected to write stories for our wires, assist with selecting and obtaining medical studies for coverage, and help post stories using Reuters Health software. Internships are based in our Times Square offices in New York.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; Journalism experience (college newspaper/magazine/broadcast welcome, or coursework in journalism); Application should include a cover letter, resume, 3-5 relevant clips, and links to online work such as blogs or Twitter
