Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding Neurology to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, which is located in NYC, and is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with NYP Weill-Cornell Medical College. Lincoln Medical Center is a NYS designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers.

Lincoln Medicine Department Overview:

* Lincoln Medical Center Neurologists can apply for Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at NYP Weill Cornell
* As a Comprehensive Stroke Center, we have thrombectomy capability and a wide range of interesting pathology.

Responsibilities
    Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting.
  • Outpatient consultation in general neurology
  • Provide supervision and teaching of internal medicine and psychiatry residents.
  • Provide clinical guidance and direction to other members of the healthcare team as needed.
  • Performs other administrative, professional, consultative duties as needed by the department Chairperson.
  • Opportunities for administrative and clinical research.
Qualifications

* Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology.
* Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one).
* Ability to speak Spanish highly desired.
* Subspecialty training welcomed. Preference for EMG training but not required.
