Position Description Summary:
Software Application Developer design and code functional programs and applications based on users requirements, analyzing requirements, design solution, programming applications, perform testing and deploy to users. Working according to company software development lifecycle procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Understand user requirements and how they translate in application features
* Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
* Design creative prototypes according to specifications
* Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
* Perform unit and integration testing before launch
* Conduct functional and non-functional testing
* Troubleshoot and debug applications
* Evaluate existing PCM applications to reprogram update and add new features in PCM disposition system
* Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code

Working Environment:
Assignment Complexity -Developing solutions for engineering analysis based on web, databases and mobile technologies.
Accountability/Discretion - Accountable for overall development cycle, from designing the solution, developing and testing till releasing for use, making sure the solution is bug free and reliable.
Working Relationships - Work with cross-functional teams in IT.
Supervision -None
Conditions - Incumbent works in office and industrial environment

Experience/Proven Skills:
Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting issues with:
* Ability to program using Java and Python is a must
* Proven experience in development is a plus
* Understanding of software design and programming principles.
* A team player with excellent communication skills
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
* Great attention to detail and time-management skills

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
* BSc Student for Software Engineering or Computer Science
* Java and Python (B and above.)
* GPA 3.5 and above
