THE JOB:

As a Master Cook at our Italian Restaurant, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and visually appealing dishes according to our menu specifications to ensure the highest quality standards are met. You will collaborate with the chefs, line cooks and front-of-house staff to create WOW memories to the guests while maintaining smooth and efficient operations.

The Starting Rate: $21.85

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Work closely with the chefs to oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen stations.
  • Evaluate cooked menu items in accordance with prescribed recipes to ensure food preparation and presentation meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to proper food handling and storage procedures to minimize waste and maximize freshness.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Prior experience working as a Master Cook or similar role in a high-volume culinary establishment.
  • Comfortable in a restaurant kitchen and familiar with the use of culinary tools, equipment, and techniques.
  • Able to follow proper cooking techniques and procedures to achieve consistency and excellence in every dish.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Describes themselves as detail oriented and a team player.
  • Takes pride in their work, provides a safe environment, and maintains health standards.
  • Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
