At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small multi-functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Ionic Lead Mobile Developer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, mobile applications that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the "team", drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.

• Develop mobile application using Ionic with Capacitor
• Create design pattern for integration with exiting web applications
• Create responsive mobile app reusing services thats built for web application
• Develop/Maintain our mobile apps writing clean code
• Create and execute unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Support the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, test, release, and support phases
• Retrieve specific requirements and suggest solutions to improve user experience
• Evaluate and debug mobile applications to optimize their performance
• Work together with the Product Development team to plan new features
• Oversee the compliance of our apps with established quality standards
• Find and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols
• Stay informed about new technology trends

• Tech Lead with 9 to 12 years of experience in Ionic with capacitor framework.
• Native iOS & Android, Angular,
• Typescript, APIC, IONIC framework, Browserstack,
• AWS Device Farm, Appium for Biometic Testing, AWS Back End for Front End (BFF)
• Redis, Lambda, & GitHub Actions (emphasis on front end development experience)

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $96,700 - $146,600 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
