Wieland Diversified is hiring a Quality Control Administator. The Quality Control Administator will be responsible for job responsibilities include working with the Quality Control Manager to process all customer orders and other documentation to satisfy the Quality System, Safety and Customer requirements.

This role is located in Monson, MA and will be fully on-site.

Responsibilities

Quality Control Administator Responsibilities:

    Ensure all customer purchase orders are reviewed and requirements can be met.
  • Review customer purchase orders to the Wieland Diversified/DMI internal sales order worksheet. All aspects of the worksheet and customer purchase order must agree including the specification, part number, purchase order number, grade, size, quantity, ship to, bill to, etc.
  • Ensure that all Wieland Diversified purchase orders to vendors and subcontractors are complete and flow down all necessary information and requirements.
  • Ensure that all inbound material and test certifications are reviewed to meet required specifications (Government, ASTM, AMS, Fed-Std, Mil-Std, customer).
  • Review and understand various material specifications. Obtain copies of latest issues of specifications as required (Government, ASTM, AMS, Fed-Std, Mil-Std).
  • Final overview of freight receivers for material shipping to customer and prepare certification packages for shipments.
  • Support QC Manager with investigation and response to customer quality complaints and corrective actions.

Quality Control Administator Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent); and one year related quality experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to understand and interpret prints, specification, and certifications.
  • Ability to understand and use dimensional tolerance tables.
  • Ability to add, subtract, divide, multiply in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data entry is required, strong MS Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and Word is a plus.
  • Experience in Gauge Management and Calibration and knowledge of Calibration software and CMM software is a plus.
  • Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial calipers, Sunnen Gauge, Profilometer, CMM is a plus.
