Enercon's Nuclear Service Group is seeking an Engineering Site Lead to join the team based in our Waterford, CT location.
- Coordinate attendance at design review meetings
- Coordinate site deliverable reviews and approvals
- Perform/assist with walk-downs and data gathering
- Track project schedules and resource loading
- Perform pre-job safety briefs
- Develop/identify new business opportunities
- Lead weekly client interface/project status meetings and providing other on-site support, as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in nuclear power
- Experience with nuclear power plant systems and design processes
- Strong communication skills
- Southern Company/Farley Plant design and/or site experience preferred
- Project Management experience beneficial
- Design Engineering experience necessary, field experience beneficial
- Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies.
- Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship
