Advantage Resourcing is currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a dynamic role in Plainfield, CT. Join a company specializing in Radio Frequency Signal Distribution, switching equipment, and cutting-edge beam steering and forming equipment.

As a CNC Machinist, your key responsibilities will include the setup and fabrication of machined parts and assemblies. Essential duties encompass converting SolidWorks models into CNC programs, model making, creating parts from conceptual sketches, developing tooling and fixtures, setup and breakdown of parts runs, and routine machinery maintenance.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM

Hourly Pay: $20-$28 (Experience-dependent)

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have 5 or more years of direct experience in machine shop tool operations, possessing in-depth knowledge of CNC equipment programming, operation, machine shop safety requirements, and responsibilities. Proficiency in producing prototype parts from sketches, familiarity with cutting tool parameters, and expertise in working with materials such as aluminum, steel, and plastics are essential. The role involves interfacing with external shops, necessitating excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, computer literacy, and the ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods while lifting up to 50 pounds when required.
